Resolution of Images
When we supply you with a scanned image, we will scan it at the size you require at 304dpi (120dpcm)This will give you enough resolution for tradition print that is viewed at hand held distances.
We also recommend that all fine art that is to be resold to be reproduced at least 300dpi
As a guide only we would suggest the following.
Litho Hand held - 300dpi
Fine art - 300dpi
Photos for personal use 125-200dpi
Posters and exhibition stands 100-200dpi
Distant posters on large billboards £72dpi
Photos for Web/email 72dpi.
